It is simply applying an emulsion of ink on the shirt. Normally for dark shirts, a base (or underlay) of white ink will be applied first so the rest of the color(s) will display properly.

If you want a high resolution full color image on white or light colored shirts you gotta try our Sublimation printing. Sublimation Printing is limited to 80-100% Dri-Fit Polyester shirts. We print both Tees and Polos with full color sub.imation. The image is brilliant and soft on the shirt and allows the shirt to "breath" and not block the air from moving through the shirt.
